Mmm, Lunch

2004 November 18
by WordNerd

I just returned from Panera Bread; I had a bowl of low-fat chicken soup and a 1/2 Asian Seasame Chicken salad.  Mmm, yum.  It was an extended lunch, but maybe by only about 15 minutes; my friends and I spent the entire time bitching about various things.  It was fun.

Were it the weekend already – it’s time to start shopping for all of our Thanksgiving items, including the scrumptious desserts that I will make.  So, without futher ado, and because I still want to talk about food since I have nothing else in mind, I give you my family’s Thanksgiving dinner:

*Turkey breast

*Roasted Baby Potatoes with Herbs

*Asparagus with Prosciutto

*Sweet Potato Casserole

*Herbed Cheddar Biscuits

*Pumpkin Cheesecake Tarts with Gingersnap Crust

*Low Carb Praline Pumpkin Pie (for low carb Mom)

Hmm . . . I think we need more vegetables there.

Nope – I wasn’t among Lucifer’s minions as they were “Hurld headlong flaming from th’ Ethereal Skie /With hideous ruine and combustion down / To bottomless perdition, there to dwell / In Adamantine Chains and penal Fire, / Who durst defie th’ Omnipotent to Arms.”
