“Ya no mi-, ya no mi-, ya no mire mas las piernas, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no estoy loca.”*

Honestly?  I don’t know what to say today.  I’m so distracted by my assignment (this is the kind I get through in one day, so I tend to be one concentrated demon on these day) that I can’t think of anything to write about briefly.  I do have a couple of things I want to discuss, but I kind of want to vent to someone before I vent to the blog.  It’s family stuff, but not immediate family stuff.  They’re actually not bugging me so much anymore; starting at 7:30am was a valuable suggestion given to me.  Plus, it’s getting me in the habit of getting up earlier, so hopefully I’ll be able to resume morning runs.  Anyway, it’s not anything I’m pissed about since I’ve had 26 years and 336 days to adjust to it.  Let’s just say this:  Some of my dad’s family stinks just as much as my mom’s does.  :P~  The reason why I never bitch about them (or haven’t until this point)?  I never, ever see them or have had many interactions with them in my aged life.

Must the University of Michigan Alumni Association continue to point out to me that I am NOT a member of their wonderful organization?  Really, now, it’s been more than eight months since I refused to renew – they’re not going to change my mind, especially when they discuss, in detail, which Michigan football players got drafted this week and in what order.  Really, don’t they know that I have issues with Athletics and the Association pandering to them all the frigging time?

And it’s raining right now, so my motivation to do anything (save plow through this broadcast) is nil.  I still haven’t run – I was planning to go to the mall for lunch to buy something wicked cool, but decided against it because my new hairdo does not do well in the rain.  My hair never does well in the rain, but when you can only put your hair back in a half-ponytail (cue heart attack from IP as he imagines me with short poodle dog hair – it’s not that short or poodle-y, though) and you tend to frizz, it’s not good.  So I’m holding off until tomorrow when it’s really not a running day (I do plan to run later today).

And now, alas, I must get back to my broadcast.  I only have 14 minutes total time to go, 10 minutes if you don’t count the commercials.  Aw, yeah.  I’ll be writing up my proof at Espresso Royale come tomorrow morning (that is, if I ever get the needed info – then I’ll just be at Espresso Royale reading Television Without Pity and pretending to work).

*Currently playing on my iTunes.  It’s a song by Gloria Trevi, who’s considered the Madonna of Mexico.  She is also one fucked-up woman and she is a whole other post if I ever decide to reminisce about my music selections circa 1989-1992.  It’s a song called "Dr. Psiquiatra" and HI-larious.  I think it’s the song with which she made it big.  Why’d I download it?  Nostalgia.
