I’m leaving on an aeroplane on Thursday morning, boyfriend-bound.  Until then, so much stuff to do!  Witness (and testify!):

1) Shop for the ingredients to the pumpkin cheesecake tartlets that my family adores.  I still plan on making these things for their Thanksgiving dessert, a way for me to be there even when I’m not.  Poignant, no?

2) Finish my homework.  I have a bit of reading to do this weekend in regards to my copyediting class, so I plan on doing that today and tomorrow.  I’m not behind, yea gods, no–but I like to read over this stuff a few times before I move onto the next lesson.

3) Get a few more cover letters and resumes out the door.  Last week was a good week in terms of sending in my materials to various offices, but a few more before the break begins will definitely not hurt at all.

4) See "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" again tomorrow.  And on Wednesday evening.  I’m insane, so what?  Bite.  Me.  It’s a good movie, and it’s oh-so sad!  And Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort?  Creepy and creepier.  He impressed me in "The Constant Gardener," and a total turnaround (arguably, fantasy versus political fiction is somewhat of a turnaround) in this film is pretty cool to see.  Excellent scene, when Voldemort returns and battles Harry, except that it didn’t last long enough.  The battle at the Ministry of Magic in movie five better last longer, damnit!  That’ll be some good stuff, Dumbledore versus He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.  And Harry, when he returns to Hogwarts with Cedric’s body (uh, spoiler?)?  So heartbreaking.  Okay, this is a to-do list, not a movie review and future film speculation post.

5)  Order my friend’s gift exchange, uh, gift.  I have the perfect idea, and I’m sure she’ll love it, but I just have to get going and order it already.  It’s inexpensive, and it’s something she’ll be able to use a lot.  Hint: she loves beer!

6) Tap my foot and wait impatiently for my new running shoes to arrive on Monday.  I really want to run tomorrow, lift on Monday, use the elliptical on Tuesday and Wednesday, also lift on Wednesday, and run on Thursday.  I also wouldn’t mind getting to the gym when I’m visiting my boyfriend (he has guest passes), so if that happens, I’ll probably need to dump one of the cardio exercises above.  I have to admit, though, I’m having fun working out on the elliptical.  I need to sort of drop it a bit once I start training for another half-marathon, but it’s a good cardio exercise that’s nearly equivalent to running.  Okay, not a running/cardio/weight lifting muses post, but a to-do list.

7) I’m sure I have more to do because there are a few things on the tip of my fingers, but I can’t recall them right now.  So another thing to do is to remember what else it is I have to do.  Does that sentence make sense?

Gah, you mean I only have five days to do some of this?  Time, it mocks me.

Your paper? I’m not going to charge you to proofread your paper–don’t be ridiculous. :) When have I ever done that?
