On me and my inability to update at all.

Not that there’s much to update at all, actually.  Little work yesterday and much slacking off conspired to have me working all day today.  However, come tomorrow, I’ll be able to finish my assignment, send it to proof, and work on my own errands and tasks and such.  I still need to pack, make the pumpkin cheesecake tartlets and get some exercise in before I leave on Thursday.  So much to do, so little time!  Not really, though–if I manage myself well, I shouldn’t have a thing to worry about tomorrow and Thursday (knock on wood).

I’ve learned that we have seven days off from work for Christmas.  Good, more time to send in resumes and hopefully get the hell away from that place in 2006.

I’ve learned that our accountant wants me and a friend to fill out some forms, but not date them.  Since she didn’t present the forms to us when we were eligible, she’s facing a combined $50,000 fine if she turns them in with the present date.  Guess who’s signed AND dated her forms?  I have no remorse about it, either, and I refuse to fill out the forms again–if she were half the employee I am, she wouldn’t have let it slip by her.  But alas, guess who makes more?  If the company’s fined the $25,000, so be it.  I’m not going to help her when it comes to what amounts to forgery.  If she wants to try to white-out the dating of the form, fine, but I’ll not help her by leaving the date blank.

I saw the last episode of Rome last night.  WAH!  Another show to miss.  First Deadwood, now RomeRome might not be coming back at all, but the earliest it might come back is 2007.  I have no idea when Deadwood’s coming back, but I imagine it’s sometime next year.

The day is over–I can log off of Yahoo! Messenger and walk away from the computer for now.  Joy.
