The silence around this blog, it is deafening. That’s what happens when you have internet access, but not necessarily the time nor the inclination to write at all. Once I’m in my apartment, surfing wirelessly from my queen-sized bed, I’ll update with my regularity.

All is well in the world, though, mostly. I had cereal for a snack between lunch and dinner. Not exactly dinner, but it’d been hours since lunch, and I don’t have anything else to snack on so . . . so be it! Cereal. It rocks.

I’m currently trying to set up phone, internet, and cable for my new apartment. Curiously enough, Verizon does not supply me with DSL. HUH. That kind of pissed me off–they’re the big kahuna around here, and they can’t hook up my damn apartment which is a block and a half from downtown? What the fuck? I’ll probably have to go with Comcast, which is WAY expensive, but maybe I can hold off on that until I actually get a TV. Being without internet access in my apartment at first will suck a ton (unless I find another provider or Verizon gets off of its ass), but I think it’s doable. Still, though, it pisses me off to no end. I mean . . . what the fuck?

Other than that, tons done today. My apartment is insured for the year (my agent is totally cool and a Michigan alumna), my bank account is set up and ready to receive copious amounts of money from my new job, and I have my new driver’s license in hand (who says that it takes a whole day to get a new license at the DMV? Took me half an hour :P). I must say, I look extremely striking in my new photo–it is a face you love perforce.

So that’s my minor, very minor update.

Agh, no internet access? That must suck. But at least you must be very happy and comfortable right now. Here, it’s freezing and right now very busy :(.

Finally! Nick got auffed last night. I was so ready to see him go.

Yeah, it’s been pretty cold the past couple of days, like Mathgeek says. I hope you get your internet up and running soon.

It’s been cold indoors and outdoors.

It’s been cold here, too. I’m not complaining, though, as I don’t have to be outside much. :P

See, I liked Nick–I’m unhappy that Santino will probably make it to Fashion Week. Bah.

I’ll get the internet access figured out, no worries. :)

My opinions on the matter change every week, because now I’m pulling for Kara to go to Fashion Week. I could do without Chloe being there, but she’s pretty much a lock. I bet Santino will be one of the final three, but it doesn’t bother me as much as it should.

My opinion remains solid–Nick, Andrae, and Daniel should’ve gone to Fashion Week. I don’t see why Kara should be there (she’s never really struck me as immensely fantastic), and Chloe is just . . . meh. She hasn’t done anything horrible, she’s done some good stuff, but overall she’s very safe. I can only imagine the copious amounts of wickety-whack that we’ll see at Fashion Week from Santino. Dios mio!

I’m sure we’ll see a cupcake walking down the runway. Which reminds me of when Homer was dreaming of doughnuts walking down a runway for a fashion show. Heh.

Mathgeek must be rolling his eyes now that we hijacked the conversation toward Project Runway.

Hah! I’d forgotten about that episode of The Simpsons. Classic! Homer, how I love thee.

Poor Mathgeek. Always drowned out by his sisters’ petty interests. :D
