Sunday, Sunday
My DSL connection felt the need to crap out sometime between 10:30am yesterday and 11:30am today. Perhaps it’s because the battery drained out of my laptop completely, and the sudden silence from my usually chatty computer caused my modem to go absolutely nuts. I’ve been able to fix the problem, but it involved a reset button, a re-installation of my software, reset of my security measures, and finally the renaming of my wireless connection (version 2.0 of the family’s connection’s name).
Other than that, I can’t complain about Sunday. Except for the fact that, even though the Breyer’s ice cream was $1.88 at Giant, I was good and got rainbow sorbet instead of the Sara Lee Strawberry Cheesecake flavor that I really wanted.
That or Twix ice cream. Damn me and my desire to not pig out continuously.
What a coincidence, I had rasberry sorbet at Stucchi’s today. It’s nice and warm over here so I put on a skirt, left the jacket at home, and went to get ice cream.
Hey, sorry I missed your call. If you’re around later and not working, I’ll try to reach you.
Anyway, it’s been really nice here, too. Lots of sun yesterday, lots of time outside.
Aren’t we just goddesses of restraint when it comes to ice cream? ;)
Yes. Yes we are. I’d rather have a piece of cake or a cookie.
Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 64 degrees, then the temperatures will drop to the mid-30s for the rest of the week :(
I have to work in an hour and forty-five minutes.
*sees the word “ice cream”
*looks in fridge and grabs cookies and creeam
*sees ice cream with crystals on it
*returns to computer looking disgrunteled.
That ice cream sounds good you two.
Oh, poor m’ijo!
I hate it when ice cream has crystals in it. It always seems to happen with Breyer’s. Edy’s always has good ice cream.
