I’m in Michigan

It’s odd, but you fall right back into the routine of a place.
Full visit and graduation report to come later . . . that is, if we get into Michigan Stadium since someone forgot to pick up tickets!
:P
I’m sure we’ll get in, though.

Ain’t We Lucky We Got ‘Em

The dominoes continue to fall at Dyn-o-mite!, as one of the worst employees there decides to high-tail it to St. Louis, following his girlfriend. Alas! Tool, we hardly knew ye!
The latest development, although it came about as a resignation and not a firing like The Tool richly deserved, nonetheless makes my former co-workers [...]

I’ve Always Thought of Jesus as a Petulant Rock Star: The Book List

I was about to turn off the lights when I remembered that, having finished two books this week, I needed to update the book list. Long commutes and the spectacular sun (when it appears) lend themselves to nice reading time. Often, IP and I will go outside on weekends and read after a [...]

A Generous Helping of Self-Esteem at Near-28, Thanks to DC

I’ve never been a particularly outgoing person–as I a child, I was highly self-conscious and horribly shy, to the point where I would hide behind my father so that Barney from The Flinstones couldn’t wave to me at Canada’s Wonderland (though, to be fair, all kids are a little afraid of those life-sized, puffy characters). It is . . .
*sob*
Alyssa Milano.  I have been told numerous times that I look like her, but I just don’t see it!  And quite frankly, given how icky she just seems to be, I’d rather [...]

“This Will All Fall Down / Like Everything Else That Was / This Too Shall Pass”

Just downloaded “Mad Season” by Matchbox Twenty. Can’t talk. Remembering college.
“And it’s good that I’m not angry
Well, I need to get over,
I’m not angry, anymore.”
Dorkus: remember the concert at Eastern?

Too Cool for Words

I just saw a Gansito Marinela truck on my way home from the Metro.
Awesome!
¡Recuérdame!

Milkshake! Give Me Some Fries and Cake, Today . . .

Sorry to all who were quite enthusiastic at the idea of IP–I mean, ME–taking over this blog. Not gonna do it simply because I ponied up the $100+ for a year’s worth of sonnet87.com, not IP, um, ME. So if you’re glad I’m back, God bless you. If you’re missing IP, that’s [...]
