This Is a Test of the WordNerd Blogging System
This is only a test.
Here’s another theme I’m seriously considering. It’s got the whole “Look, it’s fall!” leaves on it (though, technically, it’s still summer), the colors remind me of the half-marathon last year (Nike: Heavy into light blue and orange), and it’s somewhat snappy. Not altogether thrilled about the narrowness of the text area, but what can you do?
In running news, my Forerunner started working again. I have no idea why, but it is now tracking miles and pace easily while rarely losing a signal. It held up admirably throughout my 14-miler on Saturday, and has been behaving for the past two three-milers that I’ve done. I don’t know what it’s playing at, but at least it’s working. Will it hold out long enough for the marathon that is now less than two months away (eep)? We’ll see.
I am, believe it or not, writing out my vacation blog. And yes, I will soon introduce our new friend here at Sonnet87. He’s overly anxious to make his debut, but understands that there was some work to be done before he could be introduced on the blog. Don’t worry, he does exist–I won’t wait 4.5 months to show him to the world.
In other news, it’s time for me to step away from the computer.
