Another Theme
So, I’m not altogether sure how I feel about butterflies, but I have to say that this theme pretty much encompasses all I want in a theme: good width, obvious separation between posts, rounded corners and subdued colors. I’m not all too happy with the columns given that it’s messing up my race links, but I’ll try to fix that momentarily.
Which leads me to this conclusion: I have to figure out how to make my own templates. I have an idea of what I want to do, but I need to learn the language before I can speak it. While I’m perfectly comfortable editing the templates that I’ve downloaded, I still don’t have the, uh–what do the kids call it these days?–mad skillz to do this kind of thing on my own. I can learn, definitely, but I need to get a move on before it gets away from me too much.
And so it goes.
Yes, of all the new ones I’ve seen you try lately, I agree that this is the best. Good font size, and subdued (but not too subdued) colors.
Exactly. You can see everything, but you’re not overwhelmed. Still not sure about the butterflies, though.
