“Like, Is, Like, Michigan Playing This Weekend?”

When my plane landed in Detroit last night, there was a heated discussion between various passengers about the state of Michigan’s football fortunes. Was Michigan undefeated? Did Michigan lose to Notre Dame? Was it Michigan State that was undefeated? Who was playing Purdue this weekend?
These discussions made me wish fervently for Washington D.C., where talk of college football is minimal. Now, the Redskins get a lot of attention, but no college football.
However, football aside, it is quite nice to see my family. The biggest plus? Michigan is away this weekend.
Ah, it’s all about timing!
