Boo

There have been a few times during this past year that I will be walking to the train (either to or from work) and I will suddenly feel someone standing very close to me.  I don’t notice immediately—it takes a moment for me to feel like my personal space is being horribly abused by some stranger.  As I turn to confront the person, it’s always IP, either grinning or gamely poofing out his cheeks at me.  I burst out laughing as I either tell him I was about to sock him one or that I had been wondering who the hell this person thought he was to stand so close to me.

It happened again this morning.  And I have to say, one of the best things about living here is being able to randomly run into my boyfriend.  It’s refreshing to see him around hubs of mass transportation that aren’t airports.

Pretend that ASCII smiley is poofing out her cheeks. :D

Lucky. That happens a lot to me too but usually it’s just some annoying person who wants to look at the same pair of shoes I’m looking at, or just some random creep.

Well, I get the random creeps, too, but never so close. Yesterday I had some weird guy say, “Ay, bonita!” as I got off the Metro. Yeah, those catcalls make me hot!
