The 2007 Mother’s Day Gift Is . . .
So it was flowers or running shoes from Asics or Brooks. However, since I did not know what type of running shoes she wanted (there are so many, and a visit to Tortoise and Hare* or Running Fit might’ve been required—something I obviously can’t do) and because internet flower retailers are the devil, I decided on something else for the woman who put up with me for so long.
It’s called an iPod shuffle. In pink! She is the last member of the family to be brought over to the 21st century (something that IP refuses to do—he left his CD player at the gym last weekend and I was actually kind of hoping it would be gone, but alas, they never throw anything out there).
Dorkus and Mathgeek: Please keep this quiet until the package arrives. And if you’re able to intercept it and hide it until May 10 or 13, all the better.
*I have no idea why there are wedding pictures on Tortoise and Hare’s website. It would be nice if an explanation as to who these people are was given.

That is an awesome present. I just gave my mother flowers and gift certificate (bo-ring, I know)
