Now? Go Ottawa! California has no business claiming the Cup. The cheering order goes Wings, then whatever Original Six team makes it, then whatever Canadian team makes it (if the Original Six team isn’t Canadian already), then whatever team that isn’t in the south, southwest, or isn’t the Colorado Avs. As much as I love being out west, I am always aghast to see the Cup go in that direction. It just doesn’t belong.
It should always stay in the Detroit area, but that’s just my humble opinion.
