And ended up replicating Mrs. Fields’ sugar cookie recipe in the kitchen. What the hell?
I have no idea what I did wrong—I followed the traditional WordNerdia Mexican recipe for these cookies, but I guess I must short-sheeted something somewhere. Either way, they’re pretty good. I just have to make them in smaller batches because they spread so damn much (must be the baking powder, then).
At least it wasn’t a cookie disaster with everything gone to waste!
Oh—Merry Christmas to all! Would you like some Mrs. Fields’ sugar cookies?

It’s too funny that we made the same mistake with the recipe.
