Four for Four: Go Blue!
Many congrats to my little brother Mathgeek, who called me last night to inform me that the University of Michigan has accepted the fourth and final WordNerdian offspring to their illustrious institution (how could they not—I mean, he’s a WordNerdian). He’s been accepted to the College of Engineering and, should he accept their offer (there are other schools pending and visits to be made), he’ll be studying mechanical engineering. Like his three siblings before him—Big Brother A, Dorkus Malorkus and yours truly—his bright potential and sparkling wit and supreme intelligence were recognized by a college at Michigan. Dorkus Marlorkus and I were in LSA (classical studies and English literature, respectively); Mathgeek joins Big Brother A in Engineering (Big Brother studied civil engineering).
To everyone who ever implied that Big Brother A and I were admitted under the University of Michigan’s now defunct points system simply because we happened to be Mexican—suck it, because Dorkus and Mathgeek were admitted under the new policy and had absolutely no trouble getting admitted.
Anyway . . .
Congrats to my little brother once more. If you do end up going to Michigan and living in Ann Arbor, enjoy it; the city and the state change for you once you’re there as a student. And you also have Dominick’s there!

Thank you!
That thank you wasn’t sufficient. I forgot to add that without yours, dorkus’s, IP’s, and big brother A’s help, it would have been impossible for me to become a Wolverine (I’m 99% sure that I’ll be attending Michigan). Thank you guys again!
Mathgeek–you’re extremely welcome. It was our pleasure. I was just reading College Confidential’s MIT message board and apparently the MIT decisions should come within the next two weeks. Even if you’re 99% sure that you’ll go to UM, I’ll still keep my fingers crossed for your admittance to other places. :)
