Watching Zombies As a Zombie
Today’s commute, the fourth in a series of delays courtesy of Metro, wasn’t as unpleasant as I thought it would be. I plowed ahead mindlessly with the day even though I just wanted to go home. (Damn sense of responsibility; or is it simply routine that drives me?) I arrived at work only 15 minutes late. I arrived in relatively good cheer because I have found the antidote to a bad Metro commute: watch a movie on the iPod instead of listening to music, trying to tune out people while you read, or both. Today’s movie of choice thanks to an impulsive download yesterday? Shaun of the Dead! How fitting to watch zombies even as I act like one by just numbly pushing on with the day (sans flesh eating, that is).
I must write about my zombie obsession one day.

The family’s zombie obsession truly is one to behold. It might even be the one thing that we all are obsessed about couldn’t it?
It may very well be. I think it’s wonderful that we choose to bond over the walking dead! :D
