Flickr Mosaic Meme

2008 June 25
by WordNerd

I’ve never done a meme before simply because I don’t really participate in the blogging community enough to get tagged — I tend to just write for me even if I am delighted when I get a regular reader on occasion.  I don’t leave a bunch of comments on other blogs because I think my shyness extends to the blogosphere; I have enough of a time being social in my job, so I blog for personal enjoyment more than anything else.

However, this meme seemed a bit fun; I decided to go ahead and self-tag myself.  Consider it a “few of my favorite things” mosaic.

A Few of WordNerd\'s Fave Things

The rules (as found on WOC PhD’s blog):

a. Type your answer to each of the questions below into Flickr Search.
b. Using only the first page, pick an image.
c. Copy and paste each of the URLs for the images into fd’s mosaic maker.

1. What is your first name?
2. What is your favorite food?
3. What high school did you go to?
4. What is your favorite color?
5. Who is your celebrity crush?
6. Favorite drink?
7. Dream vacation?
8. Favorite dessert?
9. What you want to be when you grow up?
10. What do you love most in life?
11. One word to describe you.
12. Your flickr name. (No flickr name for me!)

Apologies for not including links to the photos; I don’t want to give away too much of my identity.

    C’mon! Sushi, strawberry shortcake, Sweetie . . . what’s not to love!?!?

Oh, I get it now. Yeah, I didn’t go there, but it’s what pops up on the first page of the search. It was that or the goddamn Fiddlers.

Hehe, actually the Fiddlers aren’t that bad (most of them). However the rest of the mosaic is cool (excluding Sweetie).

Individually, I’m sure some of the Fiddlers are fine. As a whole, they represent the worst of Saline — pompous, annoying, with one giant overinflated ego. There’s also the assumption that everyone in town is proud of them. I can tell the Saline Fiddlers right now: No, I am not proud of you.
