Before You Knew D.C. Me
This coming week, IP and I are going on our belated honeymoon, eight months after our wedding. We are very much looking forward to the all-inclusive food and drinks, the ocean and the pools, the day trips to ruins, and hot, hot honeymoon sex at all hours of the day.
Yeah, I went there. Hold on, not so edgy, is it? Never you mind.
But in the meantime, I’d like to keep everyone entertained. So, at precisely 9:15 every single morning next week, you’ll see a new post that will have links to not my greatest hits, but to moments before you knew D.C. WordNerd and IP. Before we were hip, urbane city-dwellers, and usually spent our time trolling around Southwestern deserts.
Wait. We’re neither urbane nor hip, and we still troll around Southwestern deserts. And we’re just pseudo city-dwellers. My bad!
But here are me and sometimes us before we entered the latest stage of our lives. From the inception of this blog when it went by a different name to missing my long-distance boyfriend; to the long runs I did in Michigan and how much I hate Saline; all the way up to the moment when I found out IP and I would no longer be in a long-distance relationship, these five posts represent life in Michigan, life with a boyfriend miles away, life at my last job, and life as it changed.
I hope you enjoy.
